Remember the days of the Teva sandal--the staple of the Northwest?
Ring a bell?
Your parents forcing you into a pair of the velcro shoes because they are practical for seemingly every terrain? Throwing a fit because already at age five, you know that you value being fashionable over being reasonable? But who cares if your feet bleed and ache--because beauty is pain and pain is beauty!
Well after many years, the shoe gods have finally answered our prayers--in the form of high heeled Teva sandals!
These heels came about from a collaboration between Teva and a New York based clothing company known as Grey Ant. They are available in Worlds Unite (black and white) and Natural (tan) and retail for $330.00.
At last, the perfect combination for the chic outdoors-man. I certainly wouldn't mind owning a pair of these! Check out the shoes in action:
P.S. one of the only times that socks with sandals are acceptable!
What do you guys think?
socks with fancy shoes remind me of when I was 3-years-old and wore socks with ruffles and patent leather Mary Janes
